Beloved Helen

Before I share today’s story, I just want to thank you for being here.
Whether you've been on this list for a while or just joined, I see you.

Now, let me take you back to when I was 11…

I was raised as a pastor’s kid.

And like any good PK, I was expected to memorize Scripture—not just for Sunday School, but sometimes for the entire congregation.

I remember being about 11 or 12, standing in front of our church reciting this passage from Ecclesiastes:

“Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
As goods increase, so do those who consume them.
The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much,
but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep.”

At the time, I hadn’t done any deep theological interpretation—I just took the verse at face value.

And what I internalized was this:

✨ Having money is dangerous
✨ It creates stress
✨ The more you have, the more people will need from you
✨ Abundance steals your peace

And honestly… that felt true.

As a family, we did have more than many in our community—but we also had a lot of people living with us. Because my father was a pastor, our home became a haven for those in need—church members, relatives, neighbors. Though we were a family of five, it wasn’t uncommon to have 15 to 30 people under our roof.

To the child in me, that meant:

There’s never enough for me.
Having more means giving it all away.
The more we have, the more we lose.
I must sacrifice what I want—including rest, attention, and space.

And while I’ve always been a generous person, these internalized beliefs created a disempowered relationship with money…
and with my own right to receive.

But here’s why I’m sharing this now.

Over the past few years, I’ve done deep, sacred work to heal and rewire my nervous system around money. I’ve released survival-based stories. I’ve reconnected with my inherent worth. And I’ve aligned with what I now know to be true:

✨ Abundance is my natural state
✨ Wealth is the power of Source flowing through me
✨ Prosperity is my sacred right to flourish

And now—I’m on a mission to support women in becoming the authors of their financial destiny.

To redefine wealth not as accumulation… but as alignment.
To stop overgiving, undercharging, and shrinking.
To receive without apology.

Something very special is coming to support that mission—and I’ll be sharing more with you soon.

But for now, I want to offer you a reframe that deeply shifted my spirit.

Recently, I took a class with Sara Landon called Clearing the Path Forward, where she shared channeled definitions of abundance, wealth, and prosperity. These words landed like medicine in my bones.

Here’s what she shared:

💫 Abundance
“Having what you need to do what you want to do when you want to do it.”
It’s the feeling of being supported, resourced, and free to create, expand, and express.

💫 Wealth
“A sufficient supply—and more—of the resources you need.”
This includes money, yes—but also your time, energy, creativity, power, and presence.

💫 Prosperity
A state of flourishing—joyful, passionate, and soul-aligned.
It’s not just having more—it’s being more. It’s living in harmony with your Divine essence.

These definitions gave me language for something I had been feeling all along:
that wealth is sacred. That abundance is a birthright. That prosperity is the natural result of alignment.

And I want every woman I work with to feel this too.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be writing to you a little more often as I bring this new sacred offering to life.

If these words stir something in you… stay close.

And come connect with me on social media where I’m sharing daily reflections on what it means to become a Wealth Worthy Woman.

You deserve to have it all—
if it’s your choosing.

With love,
Dr. Helen Orombi
