Helen,
There’s a powerful shift happening right now in both of my signature spaces.
In the Becoming a Wealth Worthy Woman program, we’ve been clearing inherited money stories and releasing deep financial and goal trauma. This is more than healing—it’s about stepping into wealth as a frequency. Not chasing it. Becoming it.
And inside the Awakening Women Collective membership, we’re currently exploring a truth that many of us were never taught:
You don’t have to wait until you feel confident to take action. Confidence is not a prerequisite. Confidence is what gets activated when you move.
In our most recent session, we shattered the myth that confidence is something we earn through perfection, preparation, or proving. Here’s what emerged from our circle:
-
Confidence has often been tangled up with the fear of being wrong or the pressure to “have it all together.”
-
Many of us learned to perform confidence to fit in—but not to truly belong to ourselves.
-
We tied confidence to external validation—approval, love, permission, safety.
-
But the truth is: confidence rooted in mastery alone is fragile. Real confidence is rooted in self-worth. And self-worth is not something to earn—it is your birthright.
Here’s the reframe we’re anchoring: Confidence is not a feeling. It’s an action. You don’t wait to feel confident to act. You act—and confidence meets you in the movement.
Especially in money…
We don’t wait until we “feel ready” to raise our rates. We don’t wait until we’ve taken five more trainings to launch the offer. We don’t wait for outside permission to trust our value.
Money responds to how we hold ourselves. To the way we value our voice. To whether we trust our right to take up space and create wealth on our own terms.
Dr. Claire Zammit defines confidence as the ability to:
-
Map out a path toward success
-
Access the resources you need
-
Feel safe enough to fail and still know your worth
So I invite you to ask: What if you stopped tying your worth to the outcome? What if you decided right now: I am already worthy—whether or not I succeed at every step.
That is the foundation of financial confidence. And from that place, everything begins to shift.
Here’s a gentle inquiry for you to hold today: What money decision are you postponing while you wait to feel “ready”? Name it. Let the field hold you as you meet it with presence.
With you in every becoming, Dr. Helen Orombi
