Happy October, Helen
I can’t believe it’s already October 1st! In my family, October is a month of lots and lots and lots of birthdays — my niece, my nephews, and my dad — so it always feels like a season of celebration. Add in the crisp weather, the changing leaves, and cozy fall vibes, and it’s easily one of my favorite times of the year.
What about you — what are you most excited about this October?
Looking Back at September
Last month was truly special. I got to meet some of my online friends in person for the very first time — women I’ve journeyed with in community and programs for years.
Earlier in the month, I met my dear friend Shannon (one of my pod sisters from a program I took with Dr. Claire Zammit). Meeting her was surreal — she was exactly as I had imagined: warm, wise, and full of light.
Then, from the 19th–21st, I had a girls’ weekend with Liz and Deanna, and I finally met Darcel in person, too. It was such a gift to connect, laugh, and share space together. Here’s a picture of us: [insert photo]
For me, September was a month of connection — and it filled me with so much gratitude.

How about you? What has been the theme of your September?
A Resource for You
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing on social media about the 11 Cultural Money Narratives that limit women’s income, visibility, and impact — especially women entrepreneurs. These narratives have been passed down through history, family, religion, and culture, and they show up in subtle but powerful ways in our businesses and lives.
I’ve created a special handout for you: 👉 Download the 11 Cultural Money Narratives here
I’d love to know what you think. After you look through it, just hit reply and tell me which one resonates most with you.
And if you’re feeling stress as you read through them (or just in your day-to-day right now), here’s a free resource that may help: 👉 Watch this short video on releasing stress
More to Come…
Next week, I’ll be sharing some exciting opportunities I’m working on — and I can’t wait to let you in on what’s next.
Until then, here’s to your greatness.
With love, Dr. Helen Orombi
